Amazing gift....

Today some friends of ours were very keen to come over to give us something. Finally, it happened at 6pm. They were very excited. They gave us a letter and a gift enclosure. The letter read:

Please let me introduce you to our dear friend Jane. Jane has been a close part of our family for over 10 years. You'ved seen her around but you don't know her that well. (at this point I say, "Oh, I know Jane! Longish red hair...." and our friend says, "Keep reading!") She could be described as dependable, trustworthy, and easy on the wallet. She lovese themuisic of Aretha Franklin, Etta James, James Brown, Miles Davis, U2, and she loves it loud. Yep, she even likes your music from time to time. (Graham is a musician with several CDs) She likes long drives in the country just as much as quick trips to the grocery store or mall. She likes to play in the snow and she loves to go to the beach.

Although only 10 years old (I say, "Oh! Only 10! It's not the same Jane!" "Keep reading!"), she has traveled throughout the United States and across Canada. She hasn't been getting out much lately, so we thought maybe you would like to spend some quality time with her. We're sure you will come to like her as much as we have.

Her name is Jane HONDA. She's parked in your driveway. She's yours.

You can imagine our expressions! So Jane has a kickin' stereo system, new front tires, is all cleaned out... Three of the kids are out right now for a ride with dh! I think we're a bit stunned!!!
